I got this...been looking into mats lately and this popped up on ebay. Its a present from my fiancee so wont get a change to try it till christmas! looking forward to a different way of wave riding though.
You order a new mat and one pops up on Ebay and it looks like a blue streak, luckily only went for thirty quid less than I paid for a new one so not feeling as bad if it had gone for £50.Hope you will let us know how you get on with it
Just had the one session on the mat so far, its totally blown out over here at the moment with strong westerlies....may be coming down to cornwall for the fish fry so the mat will hopefully get another outing soon.
I think that swell is the same as this: http://mattmade.blogspot.com/2011/07/on-any-given-sunday.html
If it is then yeah...spent most of the weekend in the water.....i'm on the yellow board in the photos, although its pretty hard to tell.
Just realised thats not the same swell. The bank holiday swell was a little weird with not many local places working that well....and massive rips...still got out for a few sessions though

Youll love it Matt, been following your builds on MSW.
Really looking foward to giving it a blast. Got a mate who rides a paipo I built him that will love it too.
Don't worry Jerry, it's a canvas deck.
Like your blog Matt. Good work.

By the way, the link to here on your blog doesn't work (too many https). In could you link it to www.ukmatsurfers.org rather than the blog?
Also, do you want your blog added to our links page?
Cheers
