It's a 70 denier PU backed nylon tafetta. Very, very light. I used it on the bottom of G-Mat 3 but G-Mat 2 had it all over, same as this build.
The downside with this material is its strength. G-Mat 2 failed because I'd used this for I-Beams and it isn't up to it. This mat has I-Beams made from 100d twill same as G-Mat 3. I've been riding that in chunky surf and its going strong.

what nylon/plastic are you using for the deck and bottom? Looks thin and fast!

But it looks so sick in white! You could always just pigment the grip?!
Pigmenting a whole grip would be hell on toast!
I really wanna try out dying on this. I promise to make a white one at some point though. :-)
