Coloured grip

I mixed up a couple of heaped teaspoons of powder paint into some white Soudal. The kind of stuff youd use as a kid. Tricky stuff to mix! Its been out on a few sesions, works well and is still on there!!!

A liberal coating.

Schweet....

Have you noticed any difference in consistency when applying it? Also, is there any difference in texture/grippiness?

Cheers

Also, what made you opt to leave the rails clear?

The consistency varies on the amount of paint. Im not sure Id use a powder pigment again as its so dificult to mix properly. No diference in texture or grippiness.

Left the rails like that as I only find I need grip on those bits.

I only had lettering in mind when it comes to pigmenting. I worry about the powder affecting the rubberiness of the grip. Having tried it do you think its a goer for logos?

I've tried liquid pigments. Oil paints weren't bad but the end result was a bit soft. Resin pigments never went off!

It will be fine for a logo. The mixing is only really an issue when doing large amounts.

A posca pen might work it applied a few times?

Had a little go at mixing. You're right on it being hard! Might be easier if heated up.
